REAL LIFE UPDATE
Mar. 25th, 2009 02:34 pmWell, mentally I'm already gone, but I still have 4 more days to work here.
Two more friends have lost their jobs and another lj friend has lost her job (sorry Amy). It really is scary out there. I went online to apply for unemployment insurance and it is more money than I thought it was, but still over $500 less weekly than my salary. You can collect for 6 months and then apply for an extension if you still are unemployed so as of now you can collect for 9 months then you are on your own.
I started worked on my resume (or CV if you prefer) and it's a little over 1/2 a page. I've only had this job since art school and the work I did while in school (Starbucks). I need to figure out what to put to bulk it up. I do have my portfolio of projects that I have completed, but I can't really show that till I have an interview.
Started to rethink expenses and I know that I have been very spendy-spendy in the past and I can cut down on clothes and shoes and eating out. We might have to give up the Jeep or at least give up the garage. We pay in garage fees what some people pay in rent.
Oh well, new reality.

I've been thinking about how to fill my time and how to earn some extra money.
I know that Disney has the rights to all things Norrington so I really can't make the Norrington vibrator. Here's a reminder of the sketch by RumInspector....
But I could really get into making adult toys based on other roles our boy Jack has played.
Peter *smirk*(perfect name) from Ripley. This one would be shy and gay, though girls could use it too. The costume for this one would be a duffle coat with a hood.
Steve from Coupling. Not sure how to show his personality, but it would definitely need the floppy hair and the costume would be a demin jacket.
Miles from This Life would have that funky haircut and no costume since he was always naked. Or maybe a lawyerly suit.
OMG I could make a handporn vibrator with his long long fingers.
So many possibilities.
How about Bruce from Swingtown. He could have that funky 70's hair and polyester pants and shirt.
Let me know what you think, maybe I could start a Davenporn business.
