THE BODY IN THE LIBRARY

Continuing my mini pic spams of Jack's many roles, may I present The Body in the Library.
Many thanks to Atlantis2_04 for these lovely screen caps. Jack played a cop that was outwitted by Miss Marple at every turn.

The 1940's/50's agree with him. Why is the sneer so hot? :kisses swell cleft in chin: As Audrey Hepburn asked Cary Grant, "How do you shave in there?"

I know that I told you I was born in the wrong era, I LOVE hats on men. Don't know why, but I think it's so hot. There's something so sexy when they take them off. Oh Dear God, my hormones again.

I love them too, no pregnancy hormones involved. :) There is an old man I see around the office building sometimes on Sunday, obviously it's not a "hot" thing with him -- but, whenever he walks by me, he tips his hat. I remember thinking, wow, there's a real gentleman, last of his kind.

Sorry if I'm wearing you out, I'm working from home now -- putting in another few hours, I shit you not.

Yeah, maybe it's the manners thing. I don't know. It's kinda like that song "You can leave your hat on". I can never explain why I find certain things hot or sexy, they just are.

Oh! I saw this before I was a fan of Jack :)
I remember his role, but could not remember him. Only that he was adorable ;D

Aaah, yes, the smoking scene in that is totally raawr.

I recorded that off Italian television before the DVD was out, and my my, I'd like to hear him talk Italian in his voice...

So So Adorable.

Hey you, yeah any Jack is good Jack and I loved him in this role. Especially when he was checking out the woman's leg (pic #5)

That role reminded me of my favorite movies from childhood, old Finnish detective movies written by Mika Waltari.
A youngish (booksmart) cop that is always outwitted by his older comrade.
Not too many pictures online, here's the two of them.

It must be a genre tradition, but it works :)

Yeah, I think the bumbling policeman has been used in alot of stories.
