Really? A bad movie with a pretty man? It had Debra Messing in it so I should have guessed. She needs to stop making bad movies. It looked to me pretty much like another version of My Best Friend's Wedding, barely watchable, same guy actually, just no Julia.

Do what Marilyn Monroe did when she was going through similar -- move to New York for a while and go to the Actor's Studio, then come back a new woman.
