My family has always gotten this magazine. I discovered some of my favorite writers and stories right here. But I have always been a sucker for the cartoons. So different from the funnies in the newspaper.

Oh I do miss the New Yorker!! I read it all the time when I lived on the East coast. Best cartoons EVER.

Absolutely the best ever. I also found some of my fav authors there including the Gods - David Sedaris and Armistead Maupin.
