IT'S FLEET WEEK.
I'm heading into the city to meet up with Andrew to do a little shopping then we'll meet up with hubby for drinks and then we'll go to see "Exit the King". This is Andrew's favorite time of year. Fleet Week sees the streets of NYC overflowing with white clad seamen.

When I was teen way back in the last century the ships used to visit our port in Africa and we had it as a challenge to try and find some generous navvy to donate his hat to our collections! Thanks for the memory.
