Hubby's work Christmas Party.
Ok, so yesterday was hubby's work Christmas party. I knew most of the people at his office, but since we lived in NJ for almost a year, there were a few new people there.
I arrived before hubby since he was working late (as usual) and talked to a few folks I knew. I went into the ladies room to freshen up (it was snowing and windy last night) and my hair was all over the place.
In the ladies there was a woman I never met before. In her twenties, pretty and tall. We said hi and she complimented my hair. I said it was a mess, it was. She offered to help me with it. She took my brush and started to brush my hair. She also starting rubbing my back and when I reacted and backed away from her, she ran her hands up and down my arms. Now I'm confused. I know some people are touchy feely, but I'm not. And I know if this was a strange man feeling me like this what I should do. I don't know if she was coming on to me or not, but I felt uncomfortable.
So I left the ladies and finally found my hubby. It seems that this new woman was a law student interning at the firm and my hubby is one of her bosses. She seemed surprised that I was married to hubby when I was introduced to her.
Now my question is, do I tell hubby? Would this get her in trouble? Or should I just forget it? Maybe she was just being nice after all. Am I over reacting?

You've answered your question already. Man or woman, it doesn't matter. Nobody has the right to invade your personal space. That's equality. Will it get her in trouble? I can't tell. But we're all responsible for our own actions, and if she acts in a certain way, she has to deal with the consequences.

I knew I felt uncomfortable, but I didn't know if it was me or her. Thanks.

I wouldn't tell anyone. I might get her in trouble. I would chalk it up to a compliment and let it go at that, unless of course the problem continues, of course you probably won't be seeing her.

Probably cause
1. I'm married now,
2. It was at hubby's firm's party.
Anyway, I won't tell hubby cause I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding. Thanks for listening..Lulu
