Because June was brave and did this, I'll give it a try.

1. Hubby and I met at a Scrabble tournment.

2. He asked me to marry him by putting scrabble tiles saying "marry me" on pancakes he made me one Sunday morning. I cried.

3. I go to a shrink every week.

4. I am obsessed with NYC history and go to the Museum of the City of New York all the time.
I think I lived here in a previous life too.

5. I didn't learn to drive till I was 22. Still not good at it, kinda like bumper cars.

6. I lose everything. I get the cheapy cell phone that comes with the phone plan because I have lost more cell phones than I can count.

7. I also lose umbrellas.

8. I love leather (sorry PETA people) and wear it all the time. Well maybe not in summer.

9. I have a tattoo.

10. I have a gay brother.

11. I think Benny, my dog, and I knew each other in a previous life. He just gets me, you know.

12. I wish I could write. I love words but just can't string them together in a pleasing way.
Jealous of you writers out there.

13. I have a love / hate relationship with my hair. It is long and blonde and curly. It can be straight if I blow dry it for an hour, but it's too much work. I don't want to spend so much time on my hair.

14. I have a low threshold for boredom and need to be around people. I've been called an attention whore.

15. I have an hourglass figure. I'm built like my mom and my dad used to say that mom had an hourglass figure and it's late in the day, or the sand settled. In other words, I have a big butt.

16. My favorite colors are red and yellow.

17. I have a strained relationship with my mother in law.

18. I also lose gloves.

19. I'm realy glad I found lj. Elessil steered me here after obsessing with me about a crush we have in common.

20. I wear alot of black.

21. I fear pain.

22. I lived in London for 2 years.

23. I love San Francisco (next best city to NYC)

24. I'm running out of things to say.

25. I have a wee crush on this British actor, maybe you heard of him.

Got a whole lot in common there, though definitely not the driving. I love to drive as fast as possible on the L.A. freeways. There are plenty of people who think I should be committed. What could be more fun than zooming south on the 5 with the top down in the sunshine? Okay, I want to leave work now.

The hourglass thing is adorable. Looks like you should have been the one to dance to "Baby Got Back." :) I got the same problem, only substitute boobs for butt. INSANELY big boobs. A very thin friend from high school had a minus A, and we used to say we'd go under the knife at the same time and she could have half. :)

I didn't really need to learn to drive cause in NYC you either take cabs or buses or walk. I'm not a big fan of the subway. My bro B taught me, he had more patience than my other bros. Parking was and is a nightmare. Hubby came into the relationship with an old Jeep and we keep it in a garage now so we only use it when we are leaving the city.

And yeah, this baby got back.

That must get expensive. A tank of gas costs me about $30-$40 every two weeks, but that's with me driving to Anaheim once a week, without that, it lasts a lot longer.

Parking is a nightmare here too, they didn't teach parallel parking in the little town I'm from, they taught "maneuverability" which is essentially how to park in a parking lot (there are basically no streets there). If I have half a mile to slide into the spot, I'm fine, otherwise, no dice in trying to parallel park.

You're lucky to have a butt, they're all the rage right now. I never had a great one. And sadly, Jack and I share a nose, mine being proportionate for a woman. It starts out on one side of my face and goes to the other. It looks pretty normal in person, but in photographs and on screen -- forget it, yikes. Though I hear Jennifer Aniston is gorgeous in RL, her nose just looks enormous on screen. I have a friend who is like that too. It's so unfair when the camera loves other people. Patooey.

It's good to be late in the day, except when I'm buying pants. hehe

Aww! Your hubby's proposal was so cute!

And I wish I didn't need a car. It just irritates me that the Twin Cities metro (Minneapolis and St. Paul), unless you live directly in the city, are not set up for any kind of public transportation. When I was working for Verizon, I was going through three to four tanks of gas per week, at either $15 per tank of $60 per tank. I have a car and crotch rocket, so depending on what I drove...Yeah. It sucked.

Also, I must say I'd much rather have a butt than the shoulders and boobs I have. (See pics on my journal if you'd like.) Seriously, finding a dress shirt that fits me right SUCKS! It doesn't help I'm only 5 feet tall, but I guess that's what I get for being an athlete all my life.

Driving is such a necessity for lots of people and I did drive this past year when we were at the Jersey shore, but most of the time I don't have to and I have to remember how to again. lol

2. That's so cute ^_^

3. Did that too for a while. I wish more people would accept that as a normal doctor visit.

4. History is like a giant book that offers so much. So many surprises and stories and things to learn. :)

6./7. I'm afraid of losing things. That's why I usually look back when I leave a place.

12. Believe me it has it's downsides. I have a love/hate relationship with writing. I couldn't be without it, but it can be very painful and disappointing sometimes.

25. I think so *smile*

I'm not ashamed of the shrink thing, my mom died suddenly just walking home from work one day and I fell apart. So did my dad. He ended up getting sick and dying too, so I have MAJOR abandonment issues. Still trying to work through them.

This is the most writing of anything I've ever done since school. My job is more visual. I have the ideas but no clue how to express myself.

Oh, that must be terrible to go through. I "only" lost a colleague at work in a way like that, but I found it shocking enough.
