A few people commented that Jack was in the Flash Forward promo (upside down). I captured this from the promo. What do you think flist? Is this Jack? I rotated the image.

You are cleverer than me! I watched it upside down and think it's Joseph Fiennes - mouth a bit chunky - he certainly appears a bit later in the clip.

I think it's Joe Fiennes too.
I don't understand are you saying that Jack appears later, or Joe?

Yes, Fiennes is the lead. From the commercial I saw during LOST, it looks like Jack is a bus driver or something and the bus flips over and he's kind of pressed against the window. That's what it looked like to me.

Upside down it looks like Jack but now... I'm not sure anymore, it really looks like Joseph Fiennes.

Jack Davenport appears for aproximately 30 seconds in the pilot...and it is a pivotal part, but a pivotal part that cannot be revealed since he is mostly part of Olivia ( Sonya Walger)'s vision and he is seen at the end attending to his son. So, for me he is not in that ad. What I find funny though is that in the book, Lloyd Simcoe is the lead...and now he is relegated to be the guy who is the object of desire of the female lead, part of a love triangle. maybe it will change throughout the episode...but still...I find that weird.

Moreover, i think that Lloyd Simcoe is working in Stanford, probably it,s the University of Stanford, but it is not stated if he's a physicist...let's hope so.

I read the book too and I think Lloyd was the lead physicist that was performing an experiment that may have caused the flash forward. I think he was also Canadian in the book.

I don't know what the character does for a living now, but I was also disappoointed that he's no longer the lead.

It's called Miami Trauma and funnily enough it also stars Lana Parrilla. I am really happy because I love Richard and I really like Lana. It is going to be on CBS.

She is on a TNT show called Leverage. It is really great, last year was the year when lots of Aussie actors were on tv. This year there are lots of Brit actors: Jack, Joe Fiennes, Jeremy Northam, Richard Coyle, Rupert Penry Jones, Sonya Walger, Luke Mably, Christina Cole, Stephen Moyer...Tom Hollander and Hugh Bonneville starred in a pilot that was not picked up...
