Wow lulu this show just gets betterer and betterer and we've only seen the first episode and a smidgen of the second so far! I am still leaning toward it being Jack also. I think they might be throwing a red herring at us here, they have proven themselves fully capable of doing that. If you pause the clip as he walks over to the stairs and turns around and looks to his right you can, at least to my mind, almost make out JackDav's features. Add that to the fact that they have only let Jack talk a limited amount about his role on the show, and not make any public appearances except just brief little ones where he really doesn't say much of anything I'm thinking they are trying to throw us off track here. But we won't know for sure until they are ready for us to. Damn if they are able to keep this up for the whole season and series we are going to be in for a wonderful ride, we'll probably all be rattlebrained trying to figure things out, but it will be a wonderful ride just the same! :)

They are trying to throw us off by saying he's 5'8" with a big head. BUT I KNOW IT'S JACK !!!!

And did you notice she said that he did not recoginize her, that's cause he didn't flashforward. I'm sticking with our original theory.

I did notice she said he didn't recognize her. I do so look forward to trying to sort and decipher all the clues and misleads they are going to be throwing at us here. Buckle Up Buttercup...It's Gonna Be One HELL of a Ride!! :)

I don't think the clip necessarily discounts Jack. I still think it looks like him, and as orpsgod pointed out, they are keeping his character under wraps, not letting him do much press, etc. which points to bigger secrets.

What actually had me doubting it might be him, even before seeing that clip, is the location of the stadium. Supposedly Suspect Zero was in Detroit. Now, the flash occured at 11:00 a.m., so if Lloyd is Suspect Zero, he would (a) have to find a way around gridlocked Detroit, (b) find a way from there to Los Angeles despite all air traffic being grounded, and (c) get through gridlocked L.A. to reach the hospital sometime after Olivia left that night. So either he's got access to private helicopters/planes and private runways, something that would be off the grid with no registered flight plan...or he teleported. Hey, he's a physicist. It could happen, lol.

Or there's another option I haven't seen mentioned. It's possible they hadn't cast Suspect Zero when the pilot was filmed. So it might be JackDav we see in the stadium, but its not "Lloyd." If he was around when they were filming the stadium footage, they might have asked him to be a stand in for Suspect Zero for just that scene.

*sigh* I swore after Lost that I'd never get that involved with a show again. And here I am, already obsessing over the details. Here we go again.

I'm glad that you're involved. It's more fun to discuss the show with like minded fangirls. There may be fanfic muses waiting for you a few episodes in. smile.

Re Jack in Detroit; the flashforward takes place around 9am and he doesn't get to the hospital till the nightshift at the hospital, more than 12 hours. Probably more like 14 hours. Plenty of time to get to LA. And with his friends, ie Simon, I'm sure he'd have access to transport.

The producers did say that they wouldn't lie, so I don't think that they would use Jack for that scene if it wasn't supposed to be him. At the very least they would use an extra or a stunt double.
