Just so you know, it wasn't bad enough that I'm limping with these damn broken toes, but now I WADDLE too. It seems my center of gravity moved and I walk funny now.

Is anyone else freaked by the economy? The last time I checked the Dow Jones was down over 500 points for today. If this keeps up, I won't be worried about moving to California, I'll be worried about hubby and I keeping our jobs. NYC is very directly affected by the stock market.

We so need major changes in this country, the economy, the war, the environment - it's all screwed up.

I'm sorry. I hope you'll feel better soon and you and your family will not get into any job-trouble.

The toes are healing, the waddle is pregnancy related and the economy sucks all over.
I just wanted to rant.

I don't think praying is enough, I think we need to figure out what to do and do it.
I just hope everyone is registered to vote and then votes with their brains and hearts.

It has nothing to do with voting. The problem is within the companies who choose to think they can cheat the system. That's how this trouble on Wall St. started. A president can only do so much. We always have economy problems and every time it's an election year we say the same thing. "Things will get better after the elections." Do they? Every four years you would think there would be change. Politicians want you to vote for them, but they can't guarantee the promise that things will get better.

It's all about individuals taking responsibility. $700 billion bailout? How did they get away with that in the first place?
